Constant speed prop hubs use oil pressure to adjust the blade pitch, keeping the engine rpm in it's normal range (like a CVT transmission). When you lose oil pressure, you loose that control, the prop blades flatten out...and the engine spins up beyond redline. the hub explodes from centrifugal force of the blades at 6-7-8000 rpm who knows really, and the engine lunching itself as well. Have an impressive listen. That "whoop!" sound is the engine revving up.

Reno sport class: Typical large turbo engines for your large prop plane are like this turbo 540 cid flat-6 (tsio-540) giving 300+hp at around 2700rpm. Direct prop drive. This model is the Lycoming Thunderbolt edition offered without warranty and nearly 600hp at 3200+ rpm...or more if you want to tweak it further. This plane was moving around 300mph+ and on the gas when it lost oil pressure, rpm control, and then the prop. Scary for any pilot to find yourself without power and trying to pinpoint the landing with enough room.

Terrible glide characteristics, desert air, big turning radius. That was dicier than it looked.

Incredible!
That pilot has some serious skills and balls.
Also that whoooooooop sounds like something out of Star Wars.
